When the IAB called, we listened. They wanted us to produce the tittles for their Autumn event, Inspirational11. We were more than happy to say yes, and then, we went into a maelstrom of production. Why? We had an idea about a little girl surrounded by her own future/past life, a life of things that inspired her during two decades, and how this ‘yellow bricks road’ led her to be an ‘Inspired’ person today. Camera copters, sun, rain, render farms, energy power and wind conspired against, but we succeeded at the end. Combustion helped a lot with the amazing sound! Hope you enjoy it!

The british director Chris Sweeney invited Combustion to re-score the Charlie Le Mindu project, based on the Mind Heist composed by the Zack Hamsey, to participate on the “A Shaded View of Fashion Film” festival. The challenge was accepted and resulted in an epic piece.

Resonance is the vision of SR Partners; a collaborative project with over 30 independent visual and audio designers / studios. The aim was to explore the relationship between geometry and audio in unique ways.

Animators and Audio Designers were paired up at the beginning of the project and were given the guidelines to create a piece between 12 and 20 seconds and in HD quality, the rest was up to them.

We were honoured to be premiering the film at Barcelona OFFF2011 and look forward to future screenings over the coming year.

IMGTV hired Combustion for recreating Lakmé in the new videos for Brasilia Shopping, specially for Mothers’ Day. Two highly professional singers from the Theatro Mvnicipal de São Paulo were recorded at Norcal Studios and then merged into an ambient and electronic version of Lakmé.
